US Embassy: Trade & Investment

The US Embassy also held a half day seminar at the Chamber entitled “US Government Programs that Facilitate Trade & Investment” this Seminar was presented by Mr. Jake Aller, Regional Economic Officer, for the US Embassy Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, and acting Charge d’ affairs, for the US Embassy, Mr. Aller provided an overview of finance programs the US Government has that can facilitate trade and investment between the United States and Grenada.  U.S Embassy can assist businesses in obtaining information on U.S Trade regulations, on Financial Institutions such as Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) an Independent agency of the U.S. Government which helps U.S businesses invest overseas and information on the U.S. Foreign Agriculture Service.
