The Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce is concerned about the negative publicity that is being afforded the sale of the Grenada Grand Beach Hotel to a group of investors controlled by Lewis Hamilton. It believes that such publicity could harm rather than help the current investment climate in the country and urge full transparency in this transaction. It is therefore appealing to persons to refrain from making public statement until they are in possession of all the facts and to the relevant government office or official to publicly clear the air on the issues /facts surrounding the transaction." The chamber welcomes and look forward to good solid investments in Grenada and thus we hope quick and open relevant public information will lead to nationwide support to this and any good investment in our island.
